"In a world of images, a world of representation and spectacle, we have to undo-theatre, meaning to dissolve the ideal, phantasmagoric images that separate us from life and turn our bodies into everyday commodities. We also have to undo-face, so as not to limit the body to its facial, social expression, too human, allowing the head to be a member like any other, and for arms or legs to have ears, mouths, or eyes. We need to free ourselves from the models of a normalized body, defer from our own idealized identity images; we have to find the freedom to undo the boundaries between oneself and the animal, oneself and nature."
